I travelled to Shanghai and Hangzhou, China last year to photograph more than 2,000 people at a theatre and restaurant. I knew immediately that this assignment would be tough as we would only be given about 20 minutes or so after the theatrical show in Hangzhou to shoot a group portrait of all 2,000 delegates. [...]
